The Alexa Web Search Platform
We are pleased to announce that the functionality previously offered on the Alexa Web Search Platform is now available at greater scale and lower cost via Amazon Web Services.
Developers can access and process the documents in Alexa's web archive using:
- The Alexa Web Search service to locate documents of interest,
- Compute nodes from Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to retrieve and process those documents,
- And the Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) to store their output.
These services offered by Amazon Web Services help make the Alexa Web Search service highly scalable, reliable, and cost-effective. The Alexa Web Search service replaces the Alexa Web Search Platform service.
